studio.elsen is the creative studio of Johanna, Leon, and Beate Elsen. Here, we combine art, fashion, photography, and design, making our family's creative signature tangible in various ways. Our motifs are hand-drawn and are further processed in close collaboration with a small print shop near our hometown. It is important to us to create timeless favorite pieces that combine creativity and quality.
Johanna Elsen
I am a graphic designer, author, and content creator. As a speaker, I am also involved in education and prevention work regarding eating disorders. At studio.elsen, I am responsible for product development, production, and sales, as well as social media and brand presence.
Leon Elsen
I am an illustrator and design various things. Many of my designs are inspired by the surfer vibes I experience daily in my adopted home of Australia, or by my (very) crazy cat Atticus. My illustrations are still created in the classic way – by hand with pen on paper.
Atticus
I’m Atticus, Leon's cat and king of the house. I'm living my best life in Australia: sleeping, eating, hunting bugs, getting massages – and occasionally ambushing Leon. Of course, I also check that he's working properly. As master of the house, I am the face of the new Atticus Collection, named after me.
